We become the collectors and keepers of our own knowledge, history and stories
LIVING ARCHIVE
CULTURE, CONSERVATION, LIVELIHOOD, HISTORY
Tigpanalipod II is our archiving program done together with our communities. We started during the pandemic and even a lot earlier, in 2010. In the first phase, our focus has been on archiving and community engagement. Our activities have focused on archiving practices, from methodologies to data analysis/interpretation, and engaging communities and collaborators in this process. The archive is central because it is consistent throughout various activities that allows us to trace cultural and environmental loss and remembrance by looking at how a place has changed/is changing. This is a starting point for dreaming, in other words, reimagining futures and planning towards those imagined futures.
